Terms & Conditions

Terms & Conditions - the basics

1. Services
 

All services provided include general garden maintenance such as lawn mowing, hedge trimming, weeding, pruning, and garden tidy-ups as agreed prior to work commencing.

 

Any additional work outside the agreed scope may incur extra charges.

2. Pricing & Payment

 

  • Prices are agreed in advance based on estimated time and workload.

  • Minimum booking: 1 hour.

  • Half-day and full-day rates are fixed as agreed.

  • Payment is due on completion of work unless otherwise agreed.

  • For ongoing maintenance plans, payment is due monthly in advance.
     

Late payments may result in suspension of future services.

Payments can be make either through the website when booking or in person. Both cash and card payments are accepted.

3. Cancellations & Access

​

  • A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.

  • Missed appointments or inability to access the property may be charged at the full or partial rate.

  • Clients must ensure safe and reasonable access to the garden.

4. Weather Conditions

​

Work may be postponed due to adverse weather (e.g. heavy rain, high winds) where safety or quality would be compromised. Rescheduling will be arranged as soon as possible.

5. Waste Removal

​

  • Green waste removal is included only if agreed in advance.

  • Where waste removal is not included, waste will be left neatly bagged or placed in the client’s garden waste bin.

  • Additional charges may apply for large volumes or disposal fees.

6. Ongoing Maintenance Plans

​

  • Subscription plans require a minimum commitment of 3 months (as agreed).

  • Prices are based on the garden being kept in a maintainable condition.

  • Heavily overgrown gardens may require an initial one-off clearance before starting a plan.

7. Client Responsibilities

 

Clients agree to:

 

  • Inform of any hazards (e.g. hidden objects, fragile items, underground cables)

  • Secure pets during visits

  • Provide access to outdoor power if required (for electric tools)

 

8. Liability & Disclaimer

​

While all reasonable care is taken:

 

  • The business is not liable for damage to hidden or obscured items (e.g. pipes, cables, ornaments, edging) not made visible or known prior to work.

  • Minor incidental damage to plants may occur during maintenance and is considered part of routine gardening work.

  • The business is not responsible for pre-existing issues with lawns, plants, or garden structures.

  • All services are provided without guarantee of long-term plant health due to variables beyond control (weather, soil, pests, etc.).

 

9. Insurance
 

Public liability insurance is held. Details can be provided upon request.

 

10. Acceptance

 

By booking services, the client agrees to these Terms & Conditions.
